We had the pleasure of hosting a group of creatives, designers, surfers, artist all the way from Hawaii a few weeks ago. One of them was Bree Port, an artist hailing from California that captures the essence of the sea in her resin paintings. It was really cool to see some of her paintings come to life in the Island Suite where she was staying. In the end of her stay we hosted a art exhibition together with her. Rockland Distilleries was kind enough to sponsor the night with their fine gin “Colombo 7” a gin made with Ceylon cinnamon, curry leaves, ginger root and coriander seeds. In Galle area you can find it at Samagi wine store and in Colombo you can find it over at Victorias.
